How to promote positive and constructive feedback at the school and company level. Bring awareness of IIDEA values, implement the use of People’s First Language, and promote self-evaluation. As a leader in the studio, the staff will be provided with tools to proactively provide interactive problem-solving solutions to provide a thriving environment in the dance organization.

An Interactive professional development course for the Artistic Leadership and Staff on building trust, recognizing the needs of the “community,” our role as the leader/coach, and managing current topics such as legal environment, mental health, body image, and community agreements.

Dance Pedagogies for the 21st Century - In Studio Practice ©

This is a multi-day seminar on contemporary pedagogies in preprofessional and professional environments. It covers using biomechanics in class, making space for neurodiversity in dance studios, and using successful language in the studio and during rehearsal time. It is an interactive seminar for new and experienced faculty. We concentrate on exploring a holistic approach to dance education.

Developing a Successful Mindset for the Young Dancers ©

This workshop will guide the young dancers in a pre-professional environment to develop a growth mindset and take the "driver's seat" in their progress.

Kinesiology and Biomechanics as a Tool in Dance Education ©

This workshop will present key elements of Kinesiology and Biomechanics, providing functional information for the dancers to apply as they develop their technique. Teachers will have the opportunity to practice providing feedback with the new information and ‘debunk’ misinformation to be more effective as dancer educators.

Curriculum Review and Design

We will review and evaluate the existing curriculum to meet the organization's goals.
